Build an AI-powered solution that transforms how individuals and organizations access knowledge, collaborate, make decisions, and complete everyday work. Solutions should demonstrate meaningful improvements in productivity, efficiency, knowledge accessibility, or workflow execution.

Build an AI-powered solution that addresses a meaningful environmental or societal challenge. Solutions may focus on improving resource efficiency, increasing accessibility, strengthening resilience, supporting communities, or enabling more informed and sustainable decision-making.

What you'll build

A working prototype that addresses your chosen problem statement, built on Google Cloud. The goal is something functional that demonstrates a clear idea in action — not a pitch deck or a mockup.

We'll be hosting online sessions covering the overall program and a walkthrough of the problem statements, so you can attend for clarity as you build.

AI Tools

All prototype submissions must integrate AI models such as the family of Gemini or Gemma models or built using agentic platforms like Agent Platform, Antigravity, AI Studio and prototypes must be deployed on Google Cloud Platform using Cloud Run or Firebase.

What you'll submit

Following requirements are mandatory while submitting your solution:

  • Clear Proposal:
    • Submit a compelling vision for your AI solution, highlighting its positive impact and alignment with one of the problem statements in a deck/PPT converted into a PDF.
    • Clearly articulate the problem your solution addresses and how it will benefit the community.
    • Demonstrate the feasibility of your project and its potential for scalability.
  • Functional Prototype:
    • Build a working prototype using Google Cloud's AI tools & deployed on Cloud Run/GCP/Firebase.
    • Ensure the prototype effectively demonstrates your solution's capabilities and benefits.
  • Comprehensive Documentation:
    • Include a link to a public YouTube or Vimeo video or public Google drive link (3 minutes) showcasing your AI creation in action.
  • Category Specification:
    • Clearly identify the problem statement you are submitting for (Healthcare, Education, Sustainability, Accessibility, Social Good).

Judging criteria

Submissions are scored against four weighted criteria:

  • Meaningful use of Gen AI: How effectively and meaningfully has Generative AI been incorporated into the solution? Does the use of Gen AI contribute directly to solving the problem or enhancing the overall solution?
  • Technical implementation: Is the solution functional, technically sound, and appropriately implemented?
  • Scalability & sustainability: Does the solution demonstrate potential for wider adoption, scalability, and future development beyond the prototype stage?
  • Problem alignment: How effectively does the solution address the chosen problem statement, challenge objective, or theme?
  • Potential impact: Does the solution demonstrate clear and meaningful value for its intended users, organization, industry, community, or other relevant stakeholders?
  • Originality & differentiation: Does the solution demonstrate a fresh perspective, novel approach, or meaningful differentiation from existing solutions?
  • Innovation in the use of Gen AI: Does the solution demonstrate a creative or innovative application of Generative AI beyond a basic or superficial implementation?
  • Usability & accessibility: Is the solution intuitive, user-friendly, and reasonably accessible to its intended users?
  • Experience & integration: Do the various components, including the Gen AI capabilities, work together cohesively to deliver a smooth and meaningful user experience?
